Brilliant at the Basics Cohort Timeline Training

It's all about ownership, vision, contact work, and reaching more kids!

What:  It’s all about getting back to the basics of Young Life and forming a practical strategy for reaching more kids in your area and creating “Flagship Clubs.”  You'll breakdown the Ministry Strategy training on Young Life Access to it's core essentials the first day, and then build it back up to what it will look like in the context of your area the following day.

How:  To participate, you’ll form a cohort of staff (8-12) from your region, do your pre-work on Young Life Access, schedule a 24 hour time in Dallas with Brian Summerall and his team, and commit to participating in our Zoom Follow-up Calls. 

When:  Brilliant at the Basics Timeline Training is diffferent than other timeline trainings in that you and the group you form with staff from your region pick a 24 hour time to come to Dallas that works best for you.   In most cases we begin at 2:00 on the first day and end at 2:00 the following day.

Where:  All meetings take place at the Tod Bush Leadership Center in Dallas, Texas.  We are 25 minutes from both Love Field and DFW Airport.  We will make hotel reservations 5 minutes away from our office for your group once you have your dates.

Can We Bring a Staff Person Who Does Not Qualify for Timeline Training Money?  YES!  Many groups have brought staff associates, part-time staff, teacher staff, and volunteers to be a part of the co-hort.   The area and region would just have to figure out who would pay the cost.  We will help you figure it out.  All cohorts that have come to Dallas in the past year have split the cost between the region and the division.
